Corporate Gifts can be used to show … |
| Do your homework… |
Make a list of about 50-75 unusual gifts you think the corporates would like to gift. |
These can range from Diwali hampers, silver coins, leather bound booklets, desk sets, papier mache utility products to silk ties, custom made cakes / chocolates, clocks etc. |
Locate suppliers for these products and get their prices for bulk buying. Get quotes for 100 pieces – 1000 pieces. You will see an amazing sash in prces. |
Negotiate with the supplier to ensure his prices will hold good for at least 6 months |
Ensure the supplier holds stock or can deliver upon short notice. |
The gift may be important, but how you gift it is equally important. Offer add-ons in terms of gift wrapping services, gift cards, delivery etc. |
Offer to emboss the company logo / name etc. Tie up with a reliable supplier for this. |
Add your profit margin to the cost of the gift. Remember to keep profit margins low, because you will be dealing with volume in bulk gifts. So a mark up of Rs.5 on each gift becomes a profit of Rs. 5000 on 1000 gifts! |
