1. Keep an updated to-do list with the help of fridge magnets on the refrigerator.
2. Always plan your menu the previous night and chop vegetables, onion, tomatoes, coriander leaves, etc. in advance.
3. Leave the major part of cleaning utensils, sweeping/swabing floors, washing/drying clothes to your maid. Get her to chop vegetables if possible.
4. Lay out/iron uniforms/clothes the previous night.
5. Cut vegetables and run the washing machine while taking your child's lessons.
6. Involve your husband in household chores/looking after children.
7. Keep the television switched off after 9 p.m. It really saves time and helps you concentrate.
8. Shop for daily necessities on your way home from work.
9. Try to have a modular kitchen having drawers with wire-mesh bottom for easy cleaning. It also saves time by giving easy access to utensils.
10. Schedule major shopping, visiting/entertaining friends/relatives, etc. for holidays or weekends.
